House of Afrodite GPTP Success Series is where I document my progress as I work through the Caitlin Pyle’s General Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ program. I want to provide a thorough comprehensive review of whether GPTP can help me and other like-minded entrepreneurs reach their goal of earning money through a side hustle.
As you know, I’m on a journey to find a side hustle that will allow me to eventually leave my corporate job. If you didn’t know, feel free to read all about it here. I do have to warn you that this was not my one and only attempt to find something, as you can see from the other #GoddessBoss series, “I Thought I Wanted To…” In that series, I talked about how I thought I wanted to proofread transcripts for court reporters. Well, I found out last year that this same person offered a general proofreading program and it looks like I’ll be taking that leap to start my side hustle. I’ll be journaling my progress through this program, from start to first client.
Before I get started with the practice essays, I’m going to create a little mini-binder. This will include:
1) A spreadsheet of the sentences I got wrong on all the practice sheets and the CMOS resource.
2) Practice session essays and the answer keys.
This binder will serve as a physical resource.
Come back next month for another update.
