When I made the switch to a natural deodorant, it seemed the main complaint was the wetness, the odor and the multiple applications. I would have to agree with that. Until I learned the difference between antiperspirant and deodorant. A deodorant provides odor protection but does not guard against wetness. An antiperspirant offers both wetness and odor protection. And that’s where this product failed for me.
Apparently, you really are supposed to perspire. That means toxins are leaving your body and frankly, that’s what you want. You don’t want it to build up. I don’t want my sweat glands to be blocked or clogged. Being the double whammy of both an antiperspirant and deodorant, this was supposed to protect against wetness and odor. While the scent was pleasant enough, the odor protection would fade about halfway through the day.
Ummm, that is not the business.
Living in the Ninth Ring of Hell, a body needs all the odor protection it can get around here. I’ve also discovered that I’m not a fan of clear solids. Yes, it goes on clear and doesn’t leave a residue on my clothes. But it rolled on wet and sticky and that was annoying.
So, while I’ll never buy that again, I like the company’s mission and may consider trying their other products.
